I’m Susan Auch, and I’m running as an Independent for Transcona because…
✅ I’m fed up with politicians who care more about toeing their party’s line than doing what is right! Too often, decisions are made behind closed doors by party bosses who put their own interests ahead of the people they were elected to serve. I refuse to be part of that broken system. As an Independent, I will answer only to you—not a party leader or backroom strategists.
✅ I want to protect our democracy and put decision-making back into the hands of the people that built Transcona from the ground up. Manitoba belongs to hardworking people, not career politicians who think they know better than you. Right now, we are at risk of slipping further into “partocracy”—where political elites and insiders decide who gets to run, who represents you, and how they vote. That is not democracy. I believe in free, fair, and independent representation—where your voice matters more than any party’s agenda.
✅ Why Independent? I believe we need to move beyond simplistic right vs. left thinking. I am financially conservative because I believe your money should be spent wisely—but that money should also be used to give people a hand up, to help families succeed, and to keep people in Manitoba—especially Transcona. The political parties have failed us. They care more about their internal fights than delivering real solutions. I will not join any of the parties—I will be a true voice for Transcona.
✅ Manitoba is a province with great potential, and Transcona is at the heart of it. I believe in the work ethic of our community—the families, workers, and small businesses who strive every day for the best possible standard of living. But government should be working for you, not against you. I will fight to keep good jobs in Manitoba and ensure Transcona gets the support it needs to thrive, not just survive.
✅ An honest day’s work should mean an honest day’s pay. Life is getting too expensive. Politicians talk about affordability, but they refuse to make the tough choices to cut taxes and eliminate red tape so that you can keep more of your hard-earned money. I will fight for real, meaningful tax relief—not political gimmicks, but actual policy changes that will lower costs and grow our economy.
✅ The safety of the residents in Transcona is of paramount importance to me. We all deserve to feel safe in our homes, our streets, and our community. Crime is rising, and political parties have failed to take real action. I will push for increased foot patrols, storefront police stations, and stronger crime prevention programs to ensure Transcona is as safe—or safer—than East St. Paul or Anola.
✅I will not join any of the parties—I will be a true voice for Transcona. The major parties focus on political games, while everyday people are left struggling. I will be an Independent MLA who puts you first.
This is where I chose to raise my children because this is where I was raised. I will fight every single day to make sure Transcona has a future that keeps families here, creates opportunities, and delivers results.
On March 18, vote for real, independent leadership. Let’s bring Olympic-level results to Transcona!
